As a temporary remedy, can we get any worlds repurposed, if nothing else? Even during peak times every f2p world besides world world has significantly less 150 players on it, and RS3 gold tick delay is almost completely lost since hardly any of the content is even affected. There are 19 f2p worlds which are not heritage just, if you repurpose for members and choose 10 of these, there could be f2pers on line simultaneously before there is a waiting list. Ie theoretically reducing population of the others by a bit over 10% not to mention you would bring the p2p english worlds from 85-95.

Not to mention, this, new players may see that there are more people on the f2p worlds and also be more prone to play a game which is apparently somewhat full and popular, and f2p players that desire it to be less crowded might pull out a charge card and eventually get that subscription they have been considering. It might help, although I like this idea, it wouldnt be a solution. Its quite viable, especially now that there is less competition for resources than in f2p.

I personally enjoy the tick speed for the same reasons you hate it. Can recover an action I neglect to carry out as long as it's within the time period offered by the tick speed of rs. But yeah with, particularly the shit servers. I wanted to begin performing even Vindicta with those servers would be a garbage experience although studying Telos. I will still get mid 40s kills but since these servers are incredibly shit when there's over 200 ppl I have to junk clicks and my binds.

I believe that tick rates are a problem as soon as you get your head about how ticks work. You can use them to your benefit. They have made prototypes of all RuneScape game and kept coming back saying that it did not'feel' like RuneScape game at all. It would be quite the challenge never to alienate your entire playerbase, but also to eliminate ticks. It's not a matter of knowing how ticks work. It is that in a action bar combat game, having a delay all your activities feels just like taking a swim in a river that is shit.

We have to feel how it felt, what would have to be far quicker such as boss strikes, so you have to slow them down - causing you to be back where you started. Everything in RuneScape match is balanced around that tick rate, which means you may have to balance everything back to the pace, essentially reworking the entire match - moments would be moments until u Buy RS 2007 Gold. I'd be worried about altering the tick speed, but I could completely see how shifting it to some like.5 would lower the learning curve for gamers learning pvm.
